When you create an account, register for an event, or use the contact form, we collect the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, country of residence, and payment/registration details). This data is used to process your account, your event registration and payment, and to respond to your enquiries.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Our database is hosted by Neon (serverless PostgreSQL). Technically necessary access data (e.g. IP address, browser type, time of access) is processed when you visit the site.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (e.g. which pages are viewed). Google Analytics only runs after you accept cookies via the cookie banner. Data may be transferred to and processed by Google LLC in the United States.
Vercel Analytics
This website also uses Vercel Web Analytics, a cookie-free analytics tool that does not use cookies or identify individual visitors and does not require consent.
Cookies and consent
A cookie consent banner is shown the first time you visit. Google Analytics is only loaded if you click "Accept All". You can change your decision at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
Event registration and payment data
When you register for an event, we store your registration details (name, contact information, ticket selection, payment status) together with a record that you accepted the Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy at the time of registration. This data is retained as long as necessary to organize the event and meet any applicable accounting obligations.
Newsletter
If you separately opt in to our newsletter, your email address is processed by our newsletter provider to send you StrongFirst Switzerland updates. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every newsletter email.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete, and restrict the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC/EDÖB).
